Does Intake Of Steroid Cause Changes In Menstrual Cycle?

Can a steroid injection to my toe to treat capsulitis affect my period? I m 3 days late and I m always on time. I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came back negative. My husband had a vasectomy a couple months ago, but we ve been taking birth control measures. I can t believe it s possible to become pregnant, but what else could it be? The only variable was that steroid injection that I got 5 days ago.

I really appreciate your concern, steroid therapy may some time affect the menses, if this is the irregular history of menses then it could be due to hormone changes, pregnancy may not be possible, your age could be the reason for this, although you have not mentioned it here, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
