Does Intercourse Cause A Change In Menstrual Bleeding?

I had sex with my boyfriend one day before my period came, however my period has been very light and watery. Normally the first two days I have a heavy flow and then it gets lighter. Also I have had cramps but they haven t been as constant as before or as painful as they normally are. Nothing has changed in my birthcontrol or my daily diet, so I am wondering what the reason could be for my dramatic change in my period because it is usually regular and constant .

It is nothing to worry about. Because of the secretioms in uterus mixed with semen, the flow may be watery and light. There is absolutely no abnormality at all. Relax and things will get back to normal soom.
