Does Kidney Dysfunction Cause Pain In The Left Thigh?
my 13 yrs old son started to c/o left thigh pain after running and playing with his friends outside. currently using heating pad and salonpas patches. they are providing some relif but short term. almost no pain when sitting but more pain when standing. could it be something related to kidney? but urinating fine and urine clear. do i need to worry? thank you!
It is unlikely due to kidney problem. As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated. An MRI scan might be required for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
