Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum. There is no relation of period pains and kissing and hugging. Pain are mainly caused by contraction of the uterus trying to expel the lining of the uterus. If your pain is less severe and goes away with pain killer and rest you need not worry. However if you have severe cramping pain disabling your activities please get yourself checked with a gynecologist. Wishing you well.
