Does Licking Blood Of Someone Else Have Any Medical Risk?

Hi Dr Franscino, I would just like to start by saying its a great service that you provide here. I was out with a friend the other night, we where drunk and having a friendly fight. When I looked down I had a blood smear on the back of my hand, I thought it was mine a licked it, I then realised it was from a cut from his fingers he probably got it from the zip on my coat. I have no abrasion's on my hand or mouth either. Whats my risk ?. I know he hasn't worn a condom sometimes in the past. I personally always wear one and have been tested in the past and was negative. I want to stay safe and don't want the worry because I have it before and its a nightmare, I hope I don't go down that road again with this. Kind Regards Dave

HI
Well come to HCM
This is nothing to worry because if the blood did not come in contact with open wound or lacerated would or any abrasion then this is just nothing to worry, least concern whether the person is having some disease or not, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
