Does Life Supporter Help A Person Having Brain Stroke?

My grandmother is in the hospital because of an internal infection in her right side of the knee.She was supplied with antibiotic and the infevtion bursted out.Now she had a brain stroke day before yesterday and is in the ICU on a life supporter.Her Blood pressure is 110 by 65.And she has had urine.Can things change if her life supporter has been opened?

dear,
yes, life support is indicated whenever a body's critical system is compromised or not adequately functioning.
Brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, these are prime organs who's proper functioning is required to maintain life. Any sort of grave injury to these organs may potentially warrant the use of life supports like ventilator or dialysis, etc.

As stroke insults brain, which is the principal organ controlling all other systems, any brain injury warrants life support use.
therefore, If your treating doctor has advised you to put her on life supports, it must a critical desicion, and withdrawal of any of supports may pose a direct threat to her life.
