Does Long Term Gonorrhea Affect The Joints?

How does carrying gonorrhea in my system for 10 years w/o knowledge effect my joints? I had it 1970-1980 w/o treatment or knowledge. My husband gave it to me. I am now 83 with knee replacements in 98-99,and hip replacement in 2006 carpol tunnel right hand, operated in 09,and pain in my fingers and left trigger thumb operated on. I do not take anything but Tylenol for pain, and pain is not unbearable Thank you from me Anne Baker Ops! I did not know it was not free sorry!

I've gone through your question. You are concerned about gonorrhoea affecting joints. There are chances of Reactive arthritis because of gonorrhoea. It's not seen in all long term cases, seen in few cases. Are you worried about your replaced joints?
Well, they are already replaced and if you have mild pain, then it's ok. You might not be suffering from gonococcal arthritis. Everything seems to be normal according to your history.
