Does Lymph Node Removal Make One Infection Prone?

My son had a healthy lymph node removed from behind his right ear. He s had severe pain in his jaw region. His teeth are fine. And since he s been in antibiotics the pain is going away. Is it possible for infection to migrate more freely through that region now he s minus that lymph node?

hello

thank you for trusting HCM

dear lymph node removal may won't cause elevation of infection. it may be associated with surgical procedure associated problem s like local site infection, pain, bleeding and injury to surrounding structures etc.. use pain killers and anti biotics. please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.

take care
