Does Mucous In Throat And Headache Indicate Sinus Infection?
I have been suffering with sinus trouble chronically for some time. I have been told it is caused from allergies and have been put on Allegra D. The allergy medicine however is not working. Just this past week the sinus pain has been getting worse including bad headaches on the top of my head. Nothing seems to releive them. I also get lots of mucous drainage down my throat. Could I have a sinus infection?
The most probable condition is sinus infection. It is sinusitis. Along with Allegra D,also take an antibiotic like Amoxicillin-CV 625 mg for five days. No cool drinks, cold water etc., warm water drinking will help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
