Does Obesity Cause Chest Pain During Menses And After Eating?
Hi..i m diana.. i m 28years old.. lately my chest always hurt when i m having my menses. And when i am done eating.. there will be a warm sensation on my chest.. sort of like a heartburn.. sometimes there will be a squeezing pain on my chest.. could this things occur due to my obesity.. because i weigh 107kg. Im afraid if i will have a heart attack. Please help me..
Hello and welcome to HCM, Chest pain is probably not associated with your menstrual cycles. However, chest pain can be due to gastritis, heart disease, respiratory disease or musculoskeletal disease. Since, you have history of heart burning, chest pain could be due to gastritis or heart burning. Squeezing pain in the chest could be due to heart diseases. Obesity can lead to gastritis and heart diseases. Thus, I suggest you to consult a cardiologist for clinical examination of the cardiovascular system.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
