Does Over Masturbation Lead To Impotency?
Hello Doctor. I'm 19 and I have a question. So, I've been masturbating for like 3 to 4 years now and I'm just worried if over-masturbation can lead to impotency or weak erections. Is this at all true? If so, what can I do to reverse the effects that over-masturbation may have caused?

Just as 'excess' of sexual intercourse cannot lead to weakness, so also 'excess' of masturbation. This is a natural activity and I would say a 'healthy' activity and does not either affect or deter sexual performance. Masturbation is not a disease hence no adverse effects. There is nothing to reverse. Masturbation causes impotency is a myth.
