Does Parkinson S Disease Have A Problem With Supplements?

I have Parkinson s disease. I take levodopa. I also take vitamins which include Alpha Lipoic acid, CoQ10, and B vitamins. I have had cancer in my breast so my doctor tells me to stay on my supplements. But then in reading on Pakistan s there s a problem with supplements. What do I do?

I understand your concern.
Supplements which you are taking should in fact do good for your body as these supplements like alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10 and B complex group of vitamins have antioxidant functions, which will help to keep the tissues healthy.
Hence, there is no harm in taking these supplements as recommended for your illness namely Parkinson's disease or Breast cancer.
Kindly stay on the supplements and take them regularly as recommended by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
