Does Persistent Sore Throat And Voice Change Indicate Cancer?
What are the chances of these symptoms being cancerous and around what stage would they be in a 44 year old healthy woman? Persistent sore throat(4months) voice change over 2 years. I have recently been to the doctor with symptoms and said to be going through menopause. She finally has said I need to go to an ENT because of the lump feeling in the throat (4 months)
The chances of you having cancer is slim and you most likely are suffering from a throat infection of some kind. At your age and with your history an infection is the most likely diagnosis. However it is better to be sure and the best way to do this would be to visit an ENt surgeon and get an endoscopy done.
