Hello there,

Normally Rubella IgG positive is indicative of a childhood rubella infection or due to immunisation with MMR vaccine(measles, mumps , rubella). IgG postive is not due to an active infection.

However, if your Rubella IgM is positive , then it is very significant. It indicates an active infection

So if only your IgG is positive , dont worry about it.For extra reassurance , talk to your gynaecologist at your next visit. Hope this helps. Have a nice day :)
