Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Presence of white pus cells in urine indicates infection which causes
fever as a body response to the invading pathogens.
Causes of urinary infection are many as inadequate hydration leading to altered pH mechanism, catheter introduced organisms per
urethra,
urinary retention, certain drugs induced, and others. Have to wait till culture report for further antibiotics and management but till then follow basic guidelines for getting better recovery.
• Drink plenty of liquids preferably boiled water, coconut water, lemon juice, green tea, coffee, butter milk, etc.
• Cranberry sachet once daily in a glass of lukewarm water with chewable
vitamin C supplements are good supporters.
• Keep genitals clean and dry.
• Avoid exposure to excess heat.
• Keep ambulatory, regular walking, and exercises help.
• Use washroom as and when required, do not withhold to pass urine.
• Avoid smoking/alcohol, if using.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
