YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED THAT YOUR PLEURAL EFFUSION WAS TAPPED OF DIAGNOSTIC PURPOSE OR NOT
IN PLEURAL FLUID, IF FLUID EXAMINATION SUGGEST EXUDATIVE PICTURE (PROTEIN >3GM%) AND PREDOMINANT LYMPHOCYTES THEN PLEURAL EFFUSION IS SUGGESTIVE OF TUBERCULAR ETIOLOGY
QUADTAB IS ANTITUBERCULAR MEDICINE AND ALTHOUGH MAY CAUSE FEW LIVER RELATED SIDE EFFECTS BUT THESE ARE CURABLE AND DISEASE CAN BE MANAGED BY OTHER ANTITUBERCULAR MEDICINE IF YOU WILL FACE LIVER ORIENTED SIDE EFFECTS.
YOU SHOULD ALSO CONSULT TO PULMONOLOGIST
