Does "Lamictal" Taken For Autism/seizure Cause Redness And Watering Of Eyes?
My son takes 25mg of lamictal 2 times per day for autism/seizure disorder. On sunny days he often gets very red around his eyes and they water and are painful. Is this related to the medication? (literature says it may cause sun sensitivity in children) Also, how long is it safe to stay on this medication? He has taken it for just over three years.
Main side effect is rashes all over the body. Such eye problem are not recorded. Hecan use dark glass and avoid sun expouser. Consult doctor who is trea ting autism. It may be time to stop the drug. dose can be reduced.
