Does Regular Oxygen Supplementation Help A Vascular Dementia Patient?

my mum is in hospital she as vascular dementia and as been diagnosed with neumonia she as been on oxygen and that as really helped to remember slight things so is it a good idea for her to have oxygen reulary she also as pulmonary fibrosis sorry about the spelling

For how long she is having dementia? How is she now? Any fever? Shortness of breath?
As far as vascular dementia and oxygenation is concerned I don't think they have got any relation. But oxygenation is very helpful in pneumonia since it greatly improves the symptoms.
If she is vitally stable then I don't think there is any need of oxygen.
