i suffer from pelvic pain for the past one and half years i have had my tubes tied for 2 years can it be caused from scar tissue i have upmc for you health insurance i tried to talk to my doctor about getting a reversal done but said my insurance wont cover it im a single mother of 3 children i work 2 days a week and cant afford the surgery on my own please help me
It is possible for scar tissue to cause pain, but that is extremely rare after having your tubes tied. Tying your tubes rarely causes that type of scar tissue. I am so sorry that you are having such serious symptoms, but the only way to figure out what is causing the pain is for your doctor to do a careful exam, and maybe do an ultrasound, or a CT scan to check for other things like cysts. If they still find nothing, they might need to look inside with a laparascope to see if there is scar tissue or some other problem. I understand that it is expensive, but you should talk to your doctor if they have any options for a payment plan, or if the hospital may be able to provide some financial assistance. I wish you the best of luck and hope you feel better soon.
