Does Semen Of A HIV Positive Man Entering A Cut In Finger Cause HIV Infection?

Hi doctor, 2 months ago I performed a fellatio on my 19 year old bisexual friend. I didn't let him ejaculate in my mouth. But after he ejaculated a little of his semen got on a little cut near my finger nail. I don't know whether he is HIV infected or not. Is there a possibility for me to get infected if he is HIV positive? (I live in Sri Lanka where it is estimated only 4000 are infected with HIV)

Thank you for query. If the cut is open or raw and if the semen has virus in it then there are chances of transmission of HIV.otherwise there are no chance if dry wound or no HIV in semen or a negative person. You can get back for any clarifications.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
