Is it possible that I messed up my ekg results because I was moving my leg during the test? I am having gastric bypass next tuesday, I am 5 ft. 6 in. 318 lb. I have to have this cleared before the surgery is able to be done. When the test was being done I was shaking my leg as the nurse didn't say she was starting the machine.

Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. No, shaking would not affect the test. 2. Unless your shaking dislodged the electrodes, it has given correct values. 3. Its based on electrical signals, so shaking would not affect. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
