i have had chronic sinus infections for a very long time. missed many days of work because of them. went to ent dr., she said I have a deviated septum almost total blockage on right side of nose. I have used all the meds for congestion, mucinex every day of my life, Sudafed, nasal sprays make my nose bleed, steroids, etc. did mri indicating that yes I do have sinus disease.. so now she said that sinus surgery will not help going to new dr., tomorrow for second opinion. is it true that sinus surgery does not work for chronic sinus infections? I am now on sick leave again and I'm ready to pull my hair out, it seems that dr.s don't know what to do so they don't do nothing except keep prescribing meds that aren't working and the co-pays and dr. visits are putting be in debt. Please help:(
