Does Skipping Ziac Dosage Cause Palpitations?

My son takes Ziac for his BP.. Took his last pill last night, he s worried that if he misses his dose tonite his heart rate will increase. I am trying to reassure him that missing one dose is not going to cause him problems, just get it refilled tomorrow and he should be Ok..

Ziac is a brand name of hydrochlorthiazide. Skipping one dose won’t cause palpitations or any side effects. He is experiencing palpitations may be because of anxiety arises out of missing pills. He can continue the pills from next day onwards.
