Does Steroidal Drugs For PCOs Affect Conception In Future?
Hello sir.....I was diagnosed with PCOS a month ago by Dr. Sulkkke. Vadodara, Gujarat. I was advised to take Crisanta and Metformin. But I am skeptical for using the steroidal drugs like Crisanta. I am afraid it might hinder in conception in future. Can you please advise???
So, the treatment should be aimed to treat the symptoms. Crisanta by correcting the reproductive hormonal imbalance, can help in regularization of menstrual cycles. Whereas metformin helps in decreasing insulin resistance. So, you can follow your doctor's suggestion.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
