Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband age 44 was on eptoin 2 tabs for 5 years because he had one episode of seizure. The doctor has asked to stop taking the medicine after checking the EEG report and now has prescribed Maxmala one tablet for one month. Will there be any withdrawal effect of eptoin. He is now having shivering in his arms and at night during sleep he jerks his leg but he does not know that he is moving his leg. The doctor also prescribed antianxiety medicine for one month. Are we on the right track. Please advise.
