Does Taking Alprim For Infection Causes Stomach Cramps? Is There Any Other Alternative ?

I have been taking Alprim for 5 days so far however my infection although improved initially, it is not cured yet. I am concerned with only 2 more to take that it is not going to fix the problem. Should I be doing something else to help the situation? I feel I have had some side affects including stomach cramps.

HI
Thanks for your query
It could be that the bacteria causing the infection is resistant to the antibiotic.
So if your symptoms persist I would recommend a urinalysis and urine culture and a change of antibiotics as per the sensitivity report.
Meanwhile drink plenty of fluids.
Hope this helps
Good luck
