Does Taking Betnesol During Pregnancy Affect The Fetus?
I am 33 weeks pregnant now.. My baby s AC in mm measurement falls in 5th percentile.. My doctor advised to take one more AC screening after 2 weeks. And i am given with 12mg of Betnesol for the lungs development of baby in case of preterm labor.. I am little confused and worried.. Is there any problem to my kid??

Betamethasone antenatal therapy has been demonstrated to improve neonatal outcomes in premature neonates, decreases the risk of respiratory distress syndrome (RDS.)
Betnesol is given to pregnant women at risk for preterm delivery. The medicine helps mature the lungs of the infants and helps prevent breathing problems in newborns.
It has not shown any significant risks associated with a single course of steroids.
