Does Taking Depo-Medrol Reduce The ESR Level?
My mother ESR was 100 and she took injection Depo-Medral 160mg single dose after 48 hrs I tested again for ESR in a different laboratory and now it was just 20.So kindly tell me that The first laboratory test was not correct or it was Depo-Medral which lower her ESR. Thanks

Regarding your mother drastic reduction in ESR following intake of depo-medrol I am sure ggesting yes it will reduce it due to this is a contraceptive that is a steroid which inadvertently has a anti-inflammatory property in treating certain ailments such as rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis
