Does Taking Dilzem Weaken Heart Muscles On The Long Run ?
I have Hypertension since 30 yrs. my age is 59 & am taking tablet Telma AM (amlodipine Besylate 5mg +Telmisartan IP 40mg ) this controls my BP fr approximately 7/8hours. I have not had angina. My Question is do I need to take a dose of Dilzem 30mg ? Will Dilzem weaken my Heart Muscles on the long Run ?

If your blood pressure is under good control , there is no need to change your present medications.
Dilzem should not be used with out recommendation by a cardiologist. Because it has few limitations where you need to be cautious.
Dilzem used in patients with Cardiac arrythmias , palpitations and some special circumstances where you need to regulate heart rates.
so its not a routinely prescribed drug for hypertension
