Does Taking Logynon Contraceptive Pill In The Wrong Order Reduce Its Effectiveness?
I took my logynon contraceptive pill in the wrong order..I took 6 of the pills at the end of the packet, thinking they were the start of the packet without double checking the numbers. They re a mustard/ ochre colour. When I realised, I started taking the pill marked with a number 1, I am on day 4 of taking those now and last night I had sex with my boyfriend. I have totally confused myself, not sure what to do to sort this out and worried
Taking CP in a wrong way reduces the efficacy of the medication. Since you have corrected, do continue to take the pills as instructed. If you had unprotected sex with your BF then you should take an emergency CP pill within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse so that you do not become pregnant.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
