Does Taking Primolut N For Delayed Periods Cause Any Side Effects?

Hi doc. My period delayed for 1 month and 2 weeks from now.. I go to tge doctor and ask if there must be a possibility that i am pregnant. Doctor gave me a pregnancy test and the result is negative. Then doc is give me primolut n . Was is this safe even when i dont even know that im pregnant lr not?

Hi I think if your pregnancy test is negative is negative, you are not pregnant. You can take primolut N. If you don't want to take It, wait for one more week and repeat the test. If negative, you can take primolut N. Another option is to take some other progesterone like susten or duphaston. These will not harm your pregnancy. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
