Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
In recurrent uncomplicated UTIs, reinfection occurs when the initially infecting bacteria persist in the fecal flora after elimination from the urinary tract, subsequently recolonizing the introitus and bladder. diabetes is a risk factor for recurrent UTI. Get done your blood sugar level.
usually antibiotic selection should be taken based on culture and sensitivity testing. should be taken for minimum 1 week for complete elimination of bacteria
In cases of recurrence, a test-of-cure urine culture performed approximately one to two weeks after completion of antibiotic therapy may be considered to confirm clearance.
Recurrent UTIs are common in those with spermicide use, frequent sexual intercourse, and new sex partners,
regards
