Does Taking Ibuprofen Cause Delay In Periods?

I have got what looks like conjunctivitis, a swollen lymph node infront of my ear, and a sore throat and cold like symptoms with a cough. I have also missed a period and been taking ibuprofen 256mg tablets x2 about 2 or 3 times a day. Has this stopped me from having a period?

Hello,

Ibuprofen is the potent pain killer along with the anti-inflammatory drug. Though there are so many side effects like nausea, vomiting, and etcetera. It never interferes with menstruation. Amenorrhea may be due to other reasons.

Hormonal imbalance, pregnancy, anxiety, tension, or uterine disorders. However sore throat, enlarged lymph nodes also may be the reason for amenorrhea. In my opinion, consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
