Hi, I am 25 years old. Since now i am one month pregnant, any effects is there to my baby or me by taking this tablets regularly.
An enzyme-inducing drug such as oxcarbazepine (Oxetol) causes a transient and reversible deficiency of vitamin K–dependent clotting factors in ~50% of newborn infants. Although neonatal hemorrhage is uncommon, the mother should be treated with oral vitamin K (phylloquinone) in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy, and the infant should receive intramuscular vitamin K at birth.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
