Does Taking Pravastatin Cause Side Effects Like Pain In Knees And Pigmentation?

I am taking pravastatin and have pain in my knees when I go from a sit to standing position. The skin on my hands show signs of fading pigmentation. I ve got white patches on my hands and I m wondering if this, too, is a side effect of this drug. Please advise.
