Does The Test Result Confirms Typhoid And Is It Curable?
Got widal result for 42 yrs old Male; Salmonella typhi O 1:80 dil and Salmonella typhi H 1:160 dil Salmonella paratyphi AH 1:20 dil Salmonella paratyphi BH 1:20dil.Having fever around 102 degree celsisius.Taking pills reduces.Is this results means having typhoid.Is this curable?

You have positive widal test.You are suffering from typhoid fever.It is fully curable disease.
Single value of salmonella O or H antigen titer values equal or greater than 1: 160 is considered as positive.
However four fold increase in titration is confirmatory.
You can take tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily for seven days.
For fever,you can take tablet paracetamol 500 mg thrice daily if temperature is > 100 degree Farenheight.
