Does Thick Discharge, Cramps With Back Pain Suggest Sign Of Labor?

Hi im 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant and for the last week or two i have been feeling sick and have headaches, backache, alot of discharge sometimes abit thicker than usual, period cramps, feeling tired and not really wanting to get out of bed unless it is to lay down on the sofa. Is any of this a sign that labour will be here soon?

Hello dear,i understand your concern. In my opinion the back pain, vaginal discharge associated with cramps of abdomen might suggest labour pains. But confirmation is done only by physical abd vaginal examination to see for any cervical changes. So i suggest you to consult doctor.Observe your fetal movements they should be atleast 10 in 12 hours. The back pain is usually seen nearing term due to enlarged uterus and alteration in spinal curvature. But as there are associated symptoms like vaginal discharge and abdominal cramps examination is needed.
Dont worry.
Best regards..Dr.Srilatha
