Suggest Treatment For Pruritic Urticarial Papules & Plaques

Hello! I suffered with eczema and with what I believe was PUPPs (Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy) when I was pregnant with my son almost 5 years ago. It is recurring now even if I am not pregnant. I'm not sure of the cause but it started around 2 weeks ago and is getting worse, it's starting to spread all-over my body like before. What can I take/do to make this go away? I would like to stay away from steroids and antibiotics 'cause I used topical I think it is not helping anymore but instead making it worse.

Hello,

I would recommend you to apply moisturizing cream containing white soft paraffin on the entire body 2-3 times in a day and take antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg twice daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney
