Hi,
The Polycystic ovary disease usually presents with reproductive
hormonal imbalance,
insulin resistance and high androgen levels, etc. It may be associated with obesity. But belly fat can also be due to other factors like high
carbohydrate intake, poor sleep,
stress, sedentary lifestyle, improper posture, genetics etc.
As you are doing regular exercise, the possible factors that can help you are:
- Correcting the dietary carbohydrates, increasing protein content.
- Sleep for 7 to 8 hours per day
- Concentrating on exercises to reduce abdominal fat
- Maintaining good posture always
- Taking treatment for
PCOS.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
