Hello,
* As per my clinical experience, the
umbilical hernia does not provoke vaginal bleeding in any manner.
* There are various symptoms of umbilical hernia as
- no symptoms or discomfort if very small size
- swelling over anterior abdomen wall overlying umbilicus
- protrusion of belly through underlying popping of intestine and omental fat
- heaviness or fullness after meals
- early satiety if large size hernia
- prominent swelling over umbilicus during weight lifting, coughing or any measure that raise the intraabdominal pressure
- vomiting in case of early obstruction pattern
- if there is twisting of loops of intestine there can be systemic signs of
hypotension,
tachycardia, severe pain, guarding , rigidity.
* While that of vaginal bleeding is in relation with
endometrial hyperplasia, fibroid,
ovarian tumor , other endocrinopathies or else.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
