I have just been prescribed Plavix after ASD heart repair - not open heart surgery, but the "clamshell" type surgery. I also love to munch on walnuts. Is this a problem with thinning my blood? I take 75 mg. of Plavix with 325 mg. of enteric aspirin. I am 65 years old.
hi thanks for posting your query. walnuts do not interfere with blood thinning. but excess intake can interfere with kidney function. consult your doctor for further queries. thank you.
