i must have smoked weed about 15 times in the last 6 months. at first i used to enjoy it but the last 2 or 3 times i smoked, i had been struck by this overwhelming panic attack and numbness. the numbness used to be in my mouth but the last time the lower part of my body went numb. that is from my stomach to limbs. i returned to normal as the effect started to wear off. but my penis is still very much dead. it has been 3 days since i smoked and i have not been able to get an erection ever since. can weed cause impotence in such a short term or will i be able to get it back up soon? i am 19 and my height and weight are very much normal. please help.
Marijuana use can lower testosterone levels, and low-T can contribute to ED. Marijuana use has also been associated with both premature ejaculation and inability to achieve orgasm. Likewise, a 2010 study published in the Journal European Urology found that marijuana may contribute to ED by inhibiting the nervous system response that causes an erection in the first place.
Marijuana use can cause anxiety and even panic attacks, and feelings of paranoia. Men who suffer from ED often get performance anxiety, and this anxiety can make it more difficult to achieve a sufficient erection. While marijuana use can relax a person, it can also cause anxiety. Your erectile function will probably return. If not, have your testosterone level checked. Stop using marijuana as it does not seem to be a positive experience for you. It can lead to other mental disorders and can shorten your life span, according to recent research.
