Hello,,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Still you are living in dark era.
Just you bitten by a dog many years ago & treated with Ayurvedic drug.
That was the treatment of wound , caused by dog.
Now this is not a excuse that you are talking in such a way.
There is no treatment of hydrophobia causes by rabid dog till now, scientifically proven .
I have seen so many cases , who died due to rabies , however history of dog bite was there , but dogs were alive .
In my opinion get a course of anti rabies vaccine for 5 injections as prescribed your doctor.
Good luck. Dr. Het

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Remember Rabis is one of the disease with 100% mortality, hence the benefits of gettting vaccinated are clearly better. There are hardly any side effects in present day vaccine. Even bite or lick on the mucous membrane is considered as significant exposure. So please complete the complete schedule of ARV .
Take Care

1. there is no treatment of Rabies, don't take risk just follow the prescribed regime of the anti rabies vaccine.
2. rabies symptoms take up to at least 14 days to show and sometimes don't show for over a year...so if you were not vaccinated earlier make sure this time you get vaccinated.
