Hi,
Home pregnancy tests do not read well at this stage of the cycle and you would need a blood test for an assay of the serum beta-hCG levels to be precise about the possibility of conception. Heavy bleeding indicates that you could have had either a miscarriage or a withdrawal and this can be confirmed only through the blood test and a trans-vaginal sonogram. Please inform your consultant as soon as possible to get further management. Avoid intercourse and stress. Hope this information is useful to you. Good luck.
