Done URSL Operation, Smoked, Having Breathing Problem, Lipid Profile Test Shows High Triglyceride And Low HDL Cholesterol.

Hi, I had a health check up and found high triglyceride and haigh VDL. 4 months ago i had done URSL operation and after one day i had smoked a cigrate and since then i am having breathing problem. Even after taking lots of doctor pescribed medicines such as lipicard, mucodine etc. my breathing problem is not cured and am suffering a lot. I have done all sorts of test such as ECO-CARDIOGRAPHY,TMT,PFT, LIPID PROFILE , ECG ,CHEST X-RAY,TSH and many blood test, but all test shows normal except lipid profile test shows high triglyceride and low HDL cholesterol. I had taken medicines for these but still having the same problem.

Dear Sir
Thanks for writing to us.
1. High Triglycerides and low HDL do not directly cause shortness of breath. Especially if your ECHO & TMT is normal, a correlation with heart is not likely.
2. Since it is a persistent problem and likely occurred after smoking, I would like you to see a chest specialist. (pulmonologist)
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
