Done Mammogram, Biopsy And Ultrasound. Migration Of Clip Shown. Will It Affect Health?

I just had my annual mammogram and the clip I had after biopsy a year ago did not show up. They sent me for an ultrasound and they weren't sure if they saw the clip or not but decided it had migrated. Will this migration affect my health in anyway or will it just float around in their and be nothing I need to be concerned about?

Hi,

A clip that is present or moved around after a radiograph is a big problem. This is because a foreign body knows no boundaries. It can move to any part of the body and to any location. It may block lymphatic ducts and causes local swelling or attach organs and cause an even worse reaction. It is important for you to confirm the diagnosis and then act on it.
