It is possible that you have pathologic intestine bacterial flora growth. It might be caused by your hospital stay for nose surgery where bacterial flora is completely different than anywhere. Such bacteria growth impedes proper intestine work. It is quite common factor which causes IBS.
It is advisable for you to try Rifaximine treatment prescribed by your doctor. Before that you should have abdominal ultrasound and foll blood work and urine analysis.
