Dry Cough, Fever, Nasal Congestion, Pain, Bleeding Nose. Water Drips From Nostril When Bending. Worried

Over the past week i have had a sever upper respiratory infection that started with a dry cough, then a fever, aches and nasal congestion . I went to the emergency room and they ruled out flu and strep . I also had two bloody noses from blowing my nose hard. What I am most concerned about though is that now when I ben over, water drips out of my right nostril . This doesn t seem normal to me.

hi there

well it looks like a viral infection because of the changing season.u need not worry much if the flu is ruled out once.you have to take few measures:

drink plenty of water.keep hydrated

take steam at least two times a day(it will break the crustations of nasal mucosa that are causing bleeding)

do lukewarm water gargles

and take an antibiotic coverage from your physician
