Dry Lips, Red, Peeling. Thyroid Test Normal. Cause?
I have severely dry lips . I have had them for more than 3 months. I went to the doctor last month. He had me take a blood test for my thyroid . Nurse said the blood results were fine. Nothing more. What can be the cause of the chapped lips? It is so embarrassing because it is red and peeling around my lips too. I do not lick my lips for moisture. I apply chapped stick.

since your thyroid tests are normal so the cause for your dry lips seems to be lack of adequate hydration in your body.
Have plenty of water and fluids and apply a moisturising lip balm on your lips regularly,it will help you!
