Dry Mouth, Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat, Vomiting, Swollen Uvula. Treatment?

I woke up last night with a super dry mouth and went to drink some water. At the time I thought there was somthing caught in the back of my throat and couldn t get it out and ended up throwing up alot. Well after that I looked in the mirror and discovered that the uvula was super swollen and is still swollen this morning. How long should it stay swollen for and what can I do to make the swelling go down

hi. you are having acute uvular swelling it may be infective or allergic which is giving you feeling of foreign body sensation in throat,producing obstruction in respiration thus giving feeling of dryness in mouth and throat.if this swelling increases may put you in trouble as by creating problum in respiration.Thus I would like to suggest you to please concern an E.N.T. specialist to diagnose the correct reasion for uvular swelling.
